Hi, I'm Sophie.
I'm a native English speaker and TEFL-qualified teacher with loads of experience, both in Poland, in person, and online from South Africa. Most of my students are Polish speakers, though I've taught people from plenty of other backgrounds too, and I help students prepare for Cambridge English exams.
Language is a bit of an obsession of mine. I studied theology to the point where I can read ancient Greek and Hebrew, which is an odd party trick but does mean I take grammar more seriously than is strictly healthy. Don't worry, your lessons stay refreshingly modern.
I don't do textbook drilling. Lessons are built on real conversation: we talk, I correct gently as we go, and we work on whatever you actually need English for, whether that's work, an exam, or just the confidence to speak up.
I studied for a degree with academic distinction, and lessons run over Microsoft Teams: warm, structured, and paced to you.
